Please read all information below before arriving at your 3D Gait analysis appointment.
You have been referred to undergo a Gait Analysis as part of your management plan.
3D Gait Analysis is state of the art technology that allows our practitioners to understand how your joints move when you walk, how the force is applied to your body and how your muscles are working. WHAT DO I BRING ON THE DAY?
Please come in activewear
- Shorts/tights & singlet
- Footwear
A private changing space can be provided on the day.
WHAT DO THE REFLECTIVE MARKERS DO?
The markers placed on your feet, knees, hips and shoulders help the 3D lighting reflect off your body. This allows accurate movement and data to be captured, showing the precise Biomechanics of your body.
WHEN WILL I GET MY RESULTS FROM THE ANALYSIS?
The results of the analysis will be available 72 hours after your appointment, we will then provide these to your referring practitioner. Your Biomechanist on the day will not be able to discuss any results with you.
