Lis Franc Stabilisation

A Lisfranc Stabilisation is a procedure used to restore stability to the midfoot following injury to the ligaments and joints of the Lisfranc complex. It is performed to protect the alignment of the foot, support healing, and allow a safe return to movement and function. To allow appropriate healing, you will be non-weight-bearing for six weeks in a moonboot and on crutches/knee scooter. Despite this, it is essential we commence early rehabilitation. Rehabilitation will promote a fast recovery, prevent deficits in walking and strength, and decrease stiffness during the early post operative phase. Please see the key exercises we need you to perform below. Refer to the handout for specific repetitions and sets per day.
