Your Hand Crafted Orthotics
Your custom foot orthotics are designed based on a prescription created by your podiatrist, tailored to your individual foot. At The Biomechanics Lab we pride ourselves on creating the most comfortable foot orthotics available, designed and hand crafted at our on site laboratory.
When dispensing your new orthotics, your podiatrist will take you through an extensive list of instructions relating to ensure you get the most out of your orthotics. This includes how best to wear them in addition to long term maintenance requirements.

WHY ARE CUSTOM ORTHOTICS PREFERABLE?
TBL uses state of the art technology and innovation to create a personalised orthotic design that has taken into account numerous variables. This includes data collected in our lab measuring movement and forces applied to the body, ensuring your orthotics are designed to offer you optimal cushioning, support and comfort.
WHY ARE ORTHOTIC REVIEWS SO IMPORTANT?
Over time your orthotics wear down just like your shoes. This means they don’t have the same level of support, cushioning and shock absorption which ideally will give you comfort when walking & running. Our experienced podiatrists will check your orthosis for optimal fit and comfort in addition to integrating a strength and conditioning program, ensuring your muscles can better support your joints This will reduce discomfort in the long term.
WHAT COSTS ARE ASSOCIATED WITH NEW ORTHOTICS?
The cost of your orthotics and podiatry services will differ depending on your current situation and health fund agreements. We suggest you check your podiatry cover directly with your health care fund, so we can give you a better estimate. Hi-caps and EFTPOS facilities are available at our reception for your convenience.
